SONS of Amvets

The Sons of AMVETS are a proud extension of the AMVETS family, made up of the sons and grandsons of American veterans. Founded nationally in 1977, the Sons organization was created to give younger generations a way to honor the legacy of their veteran family members through service, fellowship, and community involvement.

The Sons of AMVETS are dedicated to supporting our veterans, active-duty service members, and local communities. They work alongside AMVETS and the Ladies Auxiliary, lending their time and energy to projects such as fundraising events, community service programs, and volunteer support at veterans’ facilities. Their efforts help provide scholarships, youth programs, and vital assistance to military families in need.

At AMVETS Post 45, the Sons play an active role in bringing new energy and ideas to the Post, while keeping alive the traditions of service and patriotism. Through their dedication, they continue to build a strong foundation of leadership and commitment for the next generation.

Membership in the Sons of AMVETS offers not only the opportunity to serve but also the chance to be part of a close-knit family that values honor, duty, and giving back.
